Meet the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies

As graduate school applicants and students, you have chosen your academic track of specialization, allowing you to acquire professional skills and fulfill your aspirations. Academic studies and research equip you with knowledge, tools for critical thinking, and analytical and scientific writing skills, all of which provide you with a qualitative edge in the professional and social framework.

Bar-Ilan University, through the School of Graduate Studies, opens before you an opportunity for study in a broad range of innovative fields relevant in today’s world. The mission of the School of Graduate Studies is to provide a ‘home’ environment for graduate school students from initial application through degree completion. The School’s staff members interface on the academic level with the departments and academic faculties, and provide personal support, individual guidance and even financial assistance on the basis of academic achievement and need. The School’s staff members are entrusted with providing support and solving problems, with personal attention paid to allow each student to succeed, allowing them to take full advantage of their studies, research and specialization.  

As Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, what I see before me is not a mass of thousands of students, but rather thousands of individuals, each with their own distinct needs and personally chosen paths. I am committed to the continuous process of review, change and improvement, with the aim of meeting the expectations of those who have selected Bar-Ilan University for their graduate studies. To me, innovation and amassing knowledge is a goal for enabling personal and social advancement that allows meeting the challenges that lie ahead of us.
