A second foreign language

The departmental committee may require a student to take another foreign language beyond English, at the basic or advanced level, per research requirements.

The procedure for demonstrating foreign language proficiency is set by the departmental committee.

Students must fulfill the requirements of this clause no later than the academic year that follows research program approval.
