Study tracks
Master’s degree programs are available in two tracks:
Track A – includes research and thesis submission.
Track B – not research-based, no thesis. This track is not available in all departments. Graduates of this track may not apply to PhD programs, unless they conduct master’s degree research work (thesis completion) or a thesis-equivalent work per guidelines.
Students must attend courses per their study track (thesis or non-thesis based), including the number of credits determined and published in the information handbook of the School of Graduate Studies. Program syllabus is decided by the departmental committee and includes designated departmental graduate level courses, and, for some departments, undergraduate courses that are also suitable for graduate students. At least 50% of the course load must be taken at the department itself. Additional requirements will be announced in advance to applicants.
