יצירת אורקיד והזנתו באינבר- ORCID

בהתאם להנחיות הוועדה לתכנון ותקצוב (ות"ת) של ההשכלה הגבוהה בישראל, לפיהן סטודנטיות וסטודנטים הלומדים לקראת התואר השלישי נדרשים ליצור תו-זיהוי במיזם ORCID, הנך מתבקש/ת ליצור תו-זיהוי אישי ולהזינו במערכת האינ-בר. 

בקצרה, ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) הינו מיזם בינלאומי המאפשר לכל חוקר/ת בעולם לקבל תו-זיהוי חד-ערכי. תו הזיהוי משמש תקן בין-לאומי לזיהוי ודאי של חוקרים/ות בקטלוגים ובמאגרי מידע מקוונים בעת הגשת מאמרים ל כתבי עת ובפנייה לקבלת מענקים מחקר. תו הזיהוי האישי מונע טעויות בזיהוי חוקרים בעלי שמות נפוצים, מאפשר זיהוי חוקרים ששמם מופיע בפרסומיהם בגרסאות שונות לאורך השנים וכן משמש כמזהה עקבי לאורך כל מסלולי המחקר וההעסקה. בהתאם, רוב חברות וחברי הסגל האקדמי באוניברסיטאות בישראל הצטרפו למיזם ושייכו את תו הזיהוי האישי שלהם ל-ORCID המוסדי. להצטרפות זו משקל רב בכל הנוגע למערכת תפוקות המחקר הכלל-ישראלית (CRIS) שנמצאת בשלבי הטמעה, וכן לניראות של הפעילות המחקרית הפרטנית.

לאחר יצירת מספר ה-ORCID יש להזין את המספר באינ-בר האישי שבמערכת האוניברסיטה. אם יצרת בעבר תו-זיהוי ORCID,  אין צורך לעשות זאת שוב אך יש להזין את המספר האישי במערכת האינ-בר.

להלן בקצרה מידע על התהליך להזנת מספר ה-ORCID באינ-בר:

א. יש להכנס לאינ-בר --- הפרטים שלי --- עדכון פרטים --- להדביק במסך שנפתח את מספר ה-ORCID האישי (מומלץ להעתיק את מספר ה-ORCID ולהדביק באינ-בר). יש להזין מספר ORCID מלא, כולל אפסים ומקפים.

ב. לאחר לחיצה על שמור, ניתן לראות את מספר ה-ORCID שהוזן באינ-בר  על ידי לחיצה על עדכון פרטים בשנית.

In accordance with the guidelines of the Planning and Budgeting Committee for the Higher Education in Israel, students studying towards the third degree are required to create an identification code in the ORCID project, you are requested to generate a personal identification number and enter it in the In-bar system. 

Briefly, ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an international initiative that provides every researcher in the world a unique identifier. This identifier serves as an international standard for accurately identifying researchers in online catalogs and databases, when submitting articles to journals, and when applying for research grants. The ORCID number avoids errors caused by common names, enables consistent identification of researchers whose names appear in different versions over time, and serves as a stable identifier throughout a researcher’s career. As a result, most companies and academic faculty members in Israel have joined the project and linked their personal ORCID numbers to their institutions. Joining ORCID is important for Israel’s nationwide research output system (CRIS), which is currently being integrated, as well as for enhancing visibility of individual research activity.

Once you have generated your ORCID number, please enter it into the In-bar university system. If you already have an ORCID identifier, you do not need to create a new one, but you must still enter your existing ORCID number into the  In-bar system.

Here is a brief guide for entering the ORCID number in In-bar:

A. Log into the In-bar → My Details → Update Details --- Paste the personal ORCID number in the designated field (it is recommended to copy and paste the ORCID number). Make sure to enter the full ORCID number, including zeros and dashes.

B. After clicking Save, you should be able to see your ORCID number by clicking Update Details again.
